Moholy-Nagy, in his film titled Lightplay: Black-White-Gray, asserted that photography and cinema had created a “culture of light”, and observed movement of objects and light through space. Within this work, Moholy-Nagy allowed others to witness the act of seeing through multiple viewpoints. In this piece, a similar intention to illustrate the overlapping of various shapes to mimic the interchanging effect of shadow and light is pursued.
