This piece is inspired by photographer Harold Edgerton’s notable use of the stroboscope--an instrument used to alter the perception of time by employing a bright light to reveal unseen intervals within a captured moment. In his photo Falling Drop of Milk, Edgerton captures a drop of milk hitting a surface, revealing a coronet that otherwise would be missed by the human eye. This piece attempts to play with time in a similar way.
